Tonight I had a swim meet against Aloha high school. I went into the meet thinking I was going to win my 500 yard race. However I found that the girl I was up against was a club swimmer. But I didn't know that until after my race. I dove in and swam my first lap, as she slowly pulled ahead of me. I keep swimming, and soon realized that I was second! I started to bust my butt, and I didn't stop until I was done.
I took of 8 seconds. A total of 25 seconds!! I'm so happy! My best time is 6:24. I didn't win, but I took second.
