This past week

We got home on Saturday from a stressful drive of crazy drivers. I was not one of them. In fact I didn't even get behind the wheel that day. On Sunday I had another relaxing day. On Monday I slept in and we went shopping for clothes for my Astronomy camp next week. On Tuesday 'Madre' and I went to see Despicable Me 2. I had fun. On Wednesday, I went for a swim early in the morning, then I went for a heart scanning. Some fun! Then 'Madre' and I joined my friend and his mom on a segway tour.  Thank you.

Paddle Boards

Today I tried out paddle boarding on the lake. Paddle boarding is paddling on a surf board and you stand up. Because I've done paddling in the dragon boats, it wasn't too hard for me. I went really far out, then turned around and came back. I have found another new fun activity. Can't wait to do it again!

PERMITTED!!

So, on Thursday, I took my driving test, and I went through the most stressful/suspenseful fantastic half hour of my life. After getting the first four questions wrong, and skipping half of them, I went on a 'right streak'. The sad thing was that once you skipped them, you had to come back to them. Finally, there were four questions left, and I had to get 28 out of 35 (80%) right to pass. I had only gotten four wrong. It was the last straw. I only had to get one more right, and I would be done! Get all four wrong, and it was back to studying. Question 31: How far should you stay away from a moving fire truck with its lights on? A) 500 feet B) 350 feet C) 800 feet D) 1,000 feet. 'Crap, what its that?? Well, it couldn't be 1,000 feet. Thats too far, and 350 feet is too close. I'll try 800 feet.' WRONG!! I went to the next one. 'WRONG!!' again! Only two more. I could do it. WRONG!! Holy crap!! This is my last chance. Get this one right, and I'm behind the wheel! Get it wrong, and its back to the desk! I took a deep breath. I read it carefully. It was one of the ones I skipped. Which one is it? A) or B)? A) is logical, but B) sounds the closest. I'll go with B). CORRECT! PLEASE GO TO THE FRONT DESK FOR YOUR PERMIT. I couldn't believe. I had done it! After hearing all the horror stories about not passing, I had kicked the test in the butt got my permit! As soon as I was outside I was jumping around, screaming saying "I did it! I did it!"

So, after Thursday, 'Madre' and I have been taking the volvo out for a drive everyday. I am getting quite attached to that car. I haven't crashed, and I'm going slow at my mothers request so everything is good. Lets hope it stays like that. I have also gone to the Wallowa Lake with our friend and her grandson. The freezing cold waters has chased me out for the passed two times while he bobbed around without a care in the world. As we contemplated the meaning of life chatted and sat in the sun we observed people, had a laugh or two and kept an eye on her grandson. What a wonderful way to spend a summer afternoon. Visits

At about 10:30 am on Saturday, 'Madre' and I arrived at my grandparents house in Eastern Oregon. The first day was lounging around outside in the gorgeous weather, and Sunday was me franticly studying for my drivers permit that I will take on Thursday and pass hopefully. Yesterday was also another day of studying. We did a little bit of shopping as well. Today, the family friend came over, and we visited. After that 'Madre' and I went grocery shopping again. The rest of the day has been more studying  We were also baby sitting a friends dog, Tate! He is camera shy, but I did get him on video. Sadly, it won't upload.

Early Birthday

So today I am celebrating my birthday. My friends and I are going to Tree 2 Tree Adventure Park. There are zip-lines that go from trees and such. I'm very excited! We have to drive a little ways, but that will be more bonding time, right?

4th

To day to celebrate the US's Independence, I was invited to go to the Evergreen Space and Aviation Wings & Waves Water Park. It has a wave pool, a whirl pool, and a kiddy play ground. At the top of the billing is a Plane that has slides coming out of the sides. on three of the four you need to have an inter tube. The other one you are not aloud to go with one. I only went on it once. It was such a blast! I don't want to be a spoiler for people who haven't gone, but it is one of the best water parks. Thank you so much for taking me!

Summer

I have had a nice few days of relaxing in the cool/warmness of my house. I watched the entire 5th season of Doctor Who, not cause I was board, but because I was staying cool. We went to see Man of Steel. It was violent, but otherwise good. Another Super Man movie. We also went to the mall and bought some cloths. Imagine me, shopping! HAHA! I am funnnn-y! haha. FYI, for those who don't know, I don't shop very much.
